Condescending customer support, at least I got my money back. The first chat window I opened, the guy ignored me after I posted my question. After several attempts to get him to reply (the chat was still “live”) I gave up and closed it. The service I signed up for was NOT clear there would be a charge for one more domain name. I only found that out when I tried to make another domain. I wouldn’t expect, nor would any reasonable person, that I’d get UNLIMITED domain names. Not a good way to answer someone who’s frustrated and looking for assistance. Bad sales technique.

Great on-line support. I needed to update my wiki’s database and I needed the db password to do that. I followed the instructions the wiki software vendor gave me, but I could not find my wiki db password. I checked my files from InMotion, but could not see the password there either. I sent an email support question to InMotion and got a fast response. The response was very detailed and lead me to the file that contained my db password. Fast, accurate response. The only area I see in need of improvement would be technical support response. Tech support seems somewhat detached and impersonal. They don’t explain details in layman’s terms and assume you are tech savvy when you need help and explanation how to solve your issues, and how the system functions.

We respect your right to terminate hosting services but feel that your client; Tune Up Plus, would have been better served to have been given notice before service was interrupted.
